Daffodils planted to protect the trunks of fruit trees from burrowing creatures. In the background is the back garden with the annual beds. Eating: asparagus, rhubarb, chives, garlic chives, sage, sorrel, second-year Red Russian Kale, violets, arugula, and mustard greens.
